OUATIMD collects Rs.11 crore from paid previews defeating the Chennai Express.

It was almost like clash of the titans- SRK vs. Akshay Kumar but Bollywood seems to be in a festive mood. Even as last week release Chennai Express continues to earn huge at the ticket windows, Akshay Kumar, Sonakshi Sinha, Imran Khan-starrer Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai Dobaara has opened to approximately 85-90% occupancy.This shows the "Chennai Express" is not only on track but also OUATIMD is there.This film will surely show high jump on tuesday as it is a holiday. The Milan Luthria's directorial venture was released at around 2500 screens registering a record collection from paid previews at Rs.11 crore, Taran Adarsh and Komal Natha said. Balaji Motion Pictures, however, claims the paid previews collections stood at Rs.14.2 crore. According to the reports, Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Chennai Express earned Rs.6.75 crore from paid previews beating the paid preview collections of 3 Idiots (Rs 2.75 crore). Interestingly, Chennai Express was screened in 3500 theatres while OUATIMD was released in around 2500 theatres. Will the film sustain interest of the public? Will it be the success for Akshay Kumar?
